Okwi Godwin Iguwe also known as KWITEE hails from (village) Abia state, eastern Nigeria, though he was born and brought up in Warri, Delta state. Owing to the ambitious nature of his parents, he lived his early life with his late maternal grand mother who gave him every push and support he needed. She always insisted he goes to church with her for all church services and programs where he got attracted to the music department, this jump started his musical career at the age of 9 as a percussionist.
He eventually became a front line drummer at the age 11, having being introduced to various rhythm and time signatures he chose the trumpet as his major instrument, where he has made a name for himself.
He has worked with great musicians such as; Dr. Ron kenoly, Lionel Peterson, Tiwa Savage, Wande Cole, Patoranking, Brymo etc.
The song “ FABU STORY” talks about stories we all grew up to meet as children e.g like our nursery rhymes etc. The word “ FABU ” means fable (stories that are not true) e.g eze goes to school You’ve got to love the simplicity of the melody and lyrical content.
